Dr. Annie B. Watson is the Visionary and Organizer of the SURE Women Conference. Dr. Watson is also the Founder and CEO of SURE Women Ministries, Inc. SURE Women Ministries was birthed and developed from her passion to ensure that women’s lives become more prosperous, healthy, transformed for the good.  As a health professional, business owner, minister of the gospel, and wife of a pastor, Dr. Watson has seen many struggles, fears, doubts, and insecurities that women of all ages face.  She has also seen how these challenges can hinder them from reaching their fullest potential. Her vision for this ministry is empowering women to transform their lives to enable them to become instrumental in transforming others around them.  As women from all walks of life become united in their collective thinking, they can transform entire communities for the better. She clearly believes in the strength and power of uniting various women to change our communities. The SURE Women Conference is a catalyst for this vision. The Conference will unite women from all over the city and region to experience a time of transformation, fellowship, and worship.  The conference will also seek to empower and inspire women to achieve success in every dimension of their lives.

Dr. Annie B. Watson is a Springfield, MA native who has distinguished herself in the field of oral health, in community service, and in her service to ministry. Dr. Watson is the owner and chief dentist of Gentle Smiles Family Dentistry in Springfield.  God has anointed her through this practice to help others with their oral health concerns. She has also received the Presidential Who’s Who among Business and Professional Achievers Award and was a former weekly health advice columnist for The Republican newspaper on dentistry and wellness issues.  Dr. Watson was recently voted and awarded as one of America’s Top Dentists by the National Health Alliance.

Dr. Watson is married to the Rev. W.C. Watson, Jr., who is Senior Pastor of the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ.  She is a covenant partner with her husband in his pastoral duties as well as an associate minister at Canaan.

Dr. Watson is a first in many of her achievements and is notable in her community service.  She was honored with a community service award on International Women’s Day by the Springfield Women’s Commission, and saluted as a Visionary Women of Excellence.

This inspirational leader continues to fulfill her calling to minister to and empower the people of God in this city and region.


Vicki was born in a minister’s family, where she wrote and sang her first song at the age of 5.  At age of 19, she accepted a Music Director’s position near Baton Rouge, LA., and it was during that time that Vicki recorded her first project, Vicki Yoh’e.

Soon after finishing that debut recording, ministry invitations increased to the point that Vicki sensed God was leading her down a new path of ministry. Vicki entered into a recording agreement with the independent label, GIANT Records, where she released three projects that included such hits as: The Mercy Seat, Under The Blood, and Something About My Praise. Her debut release  I Just Want You, included the hit Because of Who You Are, which earned Vicki her first nomination for Gospel Music’s Dove Award. Vicki released He’s Been Faithful, her second project with PureSprings Gospel, for which she was nominated for a Stellar Award.

Vicki has ministered in song along side some of today’s well known pastors and evangelists, such as Bill Winston ,  Juanita Bynum , Benny Hinn , TD Jakes , Kenneth Copeland , Creflo Dollar , Darlene Bishop , and Paula White . Her own ministry brings a powerful message through song and the word to thousands of people around the world, during her over 150 concert services and numerous television appearances every year.

Aside from the many services that Vicki ministers in every year, she makes time for missions work in her ministry. She has ministered in various parts of Africa, Europe and Asia. More importantly, Vicki Yohe Ministries has opened NEW DESTINY for CHILDREN an orphanage in Jinja, Uganda for children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. Vicki lives in Baton Rouge, LA with her husband Troy, toddler son Walker, infant son Adley, and nephew Houston.
