Tell us your SURE story

“Being strong is a part of being a SURE woman. Our strength comes from within and is defined from the journey and story of our lives. What makes you a strong woman? What defines your strength? Tell us your story.”
I have gone through many adversities in my life and I am still standing. That lets me know that I am strong but God isn’t through with me yet.

Reading the bible daily, praying and also trusting in God is what defines my strength. I practice being positive in any situation good or bad. For years I always was negative because of disappointment in my life, but I believe now that with faith bad things can turn into good.

A strong woman can persevere despite numerous unexpected obstacles. I believe strength is multifaceted and encompasses self motivation, spiritual grounding, and upbringing.

There was a time in my life when I felt full of confidence and confused that for strength. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that being full of myself was short lived and left me feeling empty and alone. If I reflect on the difficult times in my life when I felt alone and weak it was when I was choosing to not be connected with God. But what is really awesome is that it was through those circumstances that I learned and grew strong. Strength is trusting in God when you just want to give up. It is accomplishing tasks when you feel that you are not able. Human strength can only take you so far, but with God it is limitless.
